This notice explains how personal data is processed on www.haltin.com.tr, operated by Haltin Global Dan. San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. (“Haltin”). Under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), Haltin is the data controller.
Data we process
The site does not use cookies for advertising, remarketing or visitor profiling. Google Analytics 4 may be used to measure site usage and improve the experience. Google Analytics is enabled only after you select “Allow” in the cookie preference panel; until then, the Google tag is not loaded and analytics cookies are not created.
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics may process the following usage and technical data:
- Pages visited, visit time and session duration
- Referring page or campaign information
- Technical information such as browser, device type, screen size and approximate location
- Random identifiers used to distinguish users and sessions
Google Analytics may use the first-party _ga cookie to distinguish users and _ga_4BWC3W0D6X to maintain session state. Their default lifetime is up to 2 years. Your analytics preference is retained in your browser’s local storage for 180 days. You can change it at any time through Cookie preferences in the footer.
When the site is delivered and protected, hosting, content delivery network (CDN), DNS and security infrastructure providers may automatically process limited technical data, including:
- IP address
- Date and time of the request
- Requested URL and HTTP response information
- Basic browser and device information (user-agent)
- Network-security and abuse-detection records
If the contact form is enabled and you submit it, we also process:
- Name and surname
- E-mail address
- Company name
- Telephone number (if you choose to share it)
- Any information contained in your message
Purposes and legal bases
Technical data is processed to deliver the site securely and reliably, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors and maintain necessary operational records. This processing is based on legitimate interests under Article 5/2-(f) of the KVKK and, where the GDPR applies, Article 6(1)(f).
Google Analytics data is processed to measure aggregate site traffic, understand which content is useful and improve the user experience, based on your explicit consent under Article 5/1 of the KVKK and, where applicable, Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. Refusing analytics does not affect your use of the site. If you withdraw consent, new analytics collection stops and accessible analytics cookies are deleted.
Contact data is processed solely to respond to your enquiry and maintain communication. The legal bases are Article 5/2-(c) of the KVKK (directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract) and Article 5/2-(f) (legitimate interests); where applicable, the corresponding GDPR bases are Articles 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f).
Service providers and international transfers
The site uses technical infrastructure providers for hosting, delivery and security. These providers may process limited technical data, such as IP addresses and request logs, as data processors in order to provide their services.
If you allow Google Analytics, analytics data may be processed by Google Ireland Limited and affiliated Google service providers. Data may be processed outside Turkey or your country through Google’s global infrastructure. Analytics and the associated international transfer begin only after your separate consent in the preference panel.
If the contact form is enabled through an external form provider, the information entered in the form is sent to that provider so that the enquiry can be delivered. Depending on the provider’s infrastructure, data may be processed outside Turkey or your country. Where required, such transfers are handled under applicable KVKK/GDPR requirements and appropriate safeguards.
Google Signals and advertising-personalization features are disabled in the site code. Haltin does not use your data for advertising or profiling and does not sell it to third parties.
Retention
Technical records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for security and operations and in accordance with the relevant infrastructure provider’s retention settings. Retention of Google Analytics event data is managed in the Analytics property settings; browser analytics cookies may be deleted earlier if you withdraw consent or clear browser data. Contact enquiries are retained for a maximum of 2 years after the enquiry is concluded and are then deleted.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you may ask whether your personal data is processed; request information about the processing and its purpose; learn the recipients in Turkey or abroad; request correction, erasure or destruction; and object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis. Where the GDPR applies, you may also have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability.
